About the Litchfield Firefighter’s Association
The Litchfield Firefighter’s Association is a non profit organization. The Litchfield Firefighter’s Association hosts fundraisers to support the Litchfield Fire & Rescue Department and the community of Litchfield. Our major fundraisers are the Show and Shine Car Show each August and the Food Booth at the Litchfield Fair each September. We also host benefit suppers and an annual luncheon for senior citizens and veterans at no cost to those individuals. There are numerous other ways that the Association is active in the community. The Association has funded the purchase of the Fire & Rescue’s side by side RTV and most recently a rescue boat to work on Litchfield’s ponds and lakes. It is through the dedication of the volunteer members of the Litchfield Firefighter’s Association that these support activities are possible.
